Regional Head of Sales - North America

We are currently looking for a Regional Head of Sales - North America to join our team in Denver, as a member of the Enchanting Travels’ global leadership team, working together to deliver the company’s ambitious growth plans. We are pursuing an ongoing sales transformation to build a leading sales force and have scalable processes that enable us to achieve our long-term company vision to be the best in our business. 

North America being the key source market for us, the Regional Head of Sales would be responsible to deliver aggressive sales goals and will oversee all sales activities and strategies for the region. We plan to scale 3x over the next 2 years considering the market opportunity and our ability to capitalize on that. That would require us to take up an exciting and challenging transformation journey and the Regional Head of Sales - NA will play a key role in that.

What you will be doing

  • Drive and own sales strategy for North America
    • Own and refine the company’s North America sales strategy to ensure that business remains competitive, innovative, and continuously growing
    • Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process with the aim to improve our conversion rates, efficiency and customer satisfaction
    • Identify needs around suitability of product offerings and marketing perspectives and collaborate with other stakeholders to drive the business goals
  • Change Management
    • Drive changes and transformations to people and processes
    • Envision and communicate a bold direction and channelize resources and efforts towards that
  • Lead and develop regional sales team
    • Lead, manage and develop a team of up to 7 Sales Managers and 50 travel consultants over the next 2 years
    • Build a high-performance team by strong performance management, high-quality hiring and setting up the right team structures to drive best performance
    • Have a strong hands-on and in-depth understanding of the market, customers, business and associated activities to review effectively and provide apt guidance as needed
    • Set goals and priorities for the team in line with the company vision, track team performance on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Drive alignment and commitment to shared vision and objectives
    • Build strong relationships with the sales managers and their teams to foster an environment of mutual collaboration
    • Drive learning and development across the sales team by coaching and developing sales managers to effectively lead their teams

To be successful in this role you will have a strong track record of delivering results, especially in hyper-growth environments, as well as a demonstrated ability to think and operate strategically. You will need to be able to conceptualize and be the driving force behind change and transformation. The right candidate would be able to effectively communicate, establishing trust and respect at all levels of the organization, building and managing key stakeholder relationships to drive accountability and results. We are looking for you to have multiple years of experience in a senior sales leadership position, a background in the travel & tourism industry would be desirable.
