Now into their 3rd season, Le Boat has a fleet of 24 premier Horizon Cruises and welcomes customers from around the world.  The Le Boat business also has a global sales market including the UK and Ireland, Northern and Southern Europe, the US, South Africa and Asia Pacific.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Manage aftersales for all direct bookings and agent bookings
  • Tracking payments, taking deposits and balances and sending balance reminders
  • Inform customers of any changes prior or after booking (i.e.: change in the brochure, locks information)
  • Amend bookings when required
  • Ensure additional revenue from ancillary services/extras has been offered.
  • Check pricing and discount codes on bookings
  • Ensure all relevant client information is collected and systematically entered to the booking system and ensure bases are informed on time if necessary
  • Enter pricing for cancellations
  • Assist agent/directs with special reservation problems and support
  • Support the sales team with sales calls from the North American and Latin American customers during peak periods
  • Chase options on a daily basis

Other duties include Fleet Management, complaint handling – directing complaints to the correct team in a timely fashion, assisting with sending brochures and contracts and participation in fairs, roadshows, and press trips.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a detail orientated, organized, and enthusiastic customer service professional who can work accurately under pressure and manage multiple tasks seamlessly. You would need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a superb telephone manner ensuring the best service for our customers. Previous experience in a travel sales role would be preferable but not essential as well as language skills in French Canadian or Spanish. Our Le Boat base operates out of Smith Falls, we are ideally looking for someone who could work out of our office in Smith Falls part of the week and then the opportunity to work from home the rest of the week would be available to you. There is flexibility around this which can be discussed at the interview.
