We need an ambitious Marketing Manager to execute our growth plans in France and Southern Europe. Reporting into the VP Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will drive the marketing function for leading yacht charter brands, Sunsail and The Moorings. The role has a particular focus on activation of the two brands across the business, and through multi-channel online and offline campaigns and distribution networks.

This role will be responsible for delivering the Marketing strategy for France and Southern Europe, ensuring each element of activity is integrated and aligned to the brand marketing and development strategy, using customer data and insights to inform marketing activities and decision making.

Working closely with the CRM, digital, eCommerce and creative teams in UK and US, the Marketing Manager will conceive, manage and implement marketing plans and budgets for the French and Southern European market, ensuring that these are in line with global marketing and brand strategy across all acquisition and retention campaigns, including online and offline channels. 

Summary of key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Moorings.fr & Sunail.fr websites and eCommerce activities
  • Analyze, drive traffic, follow the conversions in order to generate leads for offline conversions and bookings online, with the support of the SEO, PPC, CRM, Content and Social media teams
  • Manage online campaigns and Social Media activities
  • Manage offline activities such as Boat Show events – budget, coordination
  • Manage PR activity such as press trips, press release creation and distribution in collaboration with the press agency
  • Manage the design, development, and production of all offline printed marketing material such as brochures, print ads, direct mail, flyers
  • Budget Planning and management as well as evaluating on weekly reporting on the effectiveness of all marketing activities

What we are looking for 

We are looking for someone who has both online and offline marketing experience, a native French speaker with excellent English language skills, another European language such as Italian or Spanish would be advantageous. The right candidate will also have experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot or Pardot, CMS systems such as Drupal and Google Analytics as well as a range of social media channels.
