Treasury Analyst

Our combined businesses are the world’s largest provider of specialist and experiential travel with a range of unique experiences, from private jets, polar expeditions, sailing and more. Private equity owned, the business turns over approx  £1 billion in revenue and operates across 30+source markets and 70+ destinations.

An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Analyst to join the group. This role will report to the Assistant Treasurer and will play a core role in the group treasury function globally. You will be working across multiple geographies and currencies, managing different regulatory environments  within a complex legal entity framework.

We are seeking an experienced individual who is looking for a role that will enable them to grow their  business partnering skills within the treasury function. This is not the role for someone who prefers to  remain one step removed from the businesses. Our brands are diverse and exciting, each with their own culture and part to play in achieving our overall objectives - we want a candidate who is ready and able to throw themselves into the thick of this.

Summary of key responsibilities

  • Undertake the majority of all external FX, cash management and commodity transactions.
  • Assist with the bonds, letters of credit and bank guarentee processes in close liaison with the business units.
  • Monitor and facilitate the weekly cash-flow forecast and generate all reporting required on liquidity and FX requirements for the group
  • Initiate relevant treasury bank transactions
  • Provide support to and point of contact for business unit staff, external auditors, external banking partners and more.
  • Prepare compliance reporting

In order to be successful, you will be at least part qualified ACT with a demonstrable record of achievement within a large to mid sized corporate treasury function. Taking your technical skills as a given, you must demonstrate  both desire and ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with our different business units as well as our  banking providers and other external partners. You will be confident to make decisions autonomously and to push back to the businesses when required. A working knowledge of financial risk management is also key.
