What’s the position?

We are looking to hire a Global Head of Sales in Denver as a member of the Enchanting Travels’ global leadership team to deliver the company’s ambitious growth plans. We are on an exciting journey and are pursuing an ongoing sales transformation to build a leading sales force that enables us to achieve our long term company vision to be the best in our business. 

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be accountable for delivering sales results and all sales activities in the company. The responsibilities of the role include the following

  • Own and refine the company’s sales strategy to ensure that business remains competitive, innovative and continuously growing
  • Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process with the aim to improve our conversion rates, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Manage a team of 5 regional managers based globally (USA, Germany, India). Total team of 50 travel consultants around the world, growing to ~100 in the coming 3 years
  • Collaborate with other functions: technology, marketing, product, trip execution and finance to drive effectiveness and improvement at the organizational level
  • Build strong relationships with the sales managers and their teams to foster an environment of mutual collaboration

Competencies, knowledge & qualifications

You will have:

  • Track record of successfully managing multicultural sales teams distributed geographically and delivering excellent results
  • Effective communication with strong influencing skills and the ability to establish trust and respect at all levels of the organization
  • A university degree with work experience in a senior sales leadership position
  • Work experience in the tourism or travel industry is desirable but not a must
  • Fluency in German and experience with the US and German markets would be a great benefit, but not an absolute must. Critical thinker and clear communicator, able to build trust and senior level relationships
  • Curious and resilient change agent - great at working with other people able to build strong relationships with people of varying degrees of sales expertise & experience
  • A collaborator and skilled relationship builder, both internally and externally, with high emotional intelligence - you care about teams and inspire trust, loyalty, and respect
